Before the Tiffany’s earrings was a movie ticket…  From their first date… In high school….  That afternoon Melissa was marrying Tommy, her high school sweetheart, and she couldn’t of been more ready. I was so thrilled when Tommy asked me to photograph their wedding (we go way back – he’s my BFF Dianne‘s younger brother and I’ll be honest… I don’t call him Tommy, it’s T-booone!)  Melissa is by far one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and I know the Tharp crew was really excited to finally…officially welcome her to the family. Melissa finished her nursing degree and got ready to make her future husbands military move allllllll while planning a wedding.  And let me tell you – she did an amazing job.  I don’t know how she pulled it off but their day was just beautiful.   A lovely ceremony at the University of Virginia Chapel followed by an amazing reception at the Glenmore Country Club (and we beat the rain just in time).  T-bone and Melissa, thank you so much for allowing me to document your wedding!  You two really made my job so easy. Hope you’re enjoying the sun and sand in Florida!
