SUGAR SHOOT WORKSHOP | RICHMOND, VIRGINIA

Last Saturday I spent my day with some AMAZING photographers. The fastest ten hours ever.  The fabulous Katelyn James held the Sugar Shoot – a workshop for growing photographers.  Katelyn was so, SO inspirational.  She was full of great information and I truly feel I could have picked her brain for hours.  And the best part, she probably would’ve let me…. she’s just THAT nice.  I left the workshop with a million things running through my brain.  I need to buy this, I need to fix that, I need to update this.  But, the main point Katelyn made was… be yourself.  No one can be Carley – it’s MY brand, MY personality and I hope people will love me just as much as my pictures.  Like I said, the girl had a boat load of information!  I am so very thankful for her willingness to share so much. And the details she planned for the photo shoot – unbelievable.  I was in heaven.  Enjoy some of my favorites from the day! (it’s a super long post… I couldn’t narrow it down!)
