Elyce & David | Stevenson Ridge Wedding

Ever since their engagement session I have been waiting for this wedding.  You know how you can just ‘click’ with people? That’s me and Elyce. When she wrote me amazing emails with the occasional ‘Step Brother’ references – I knew it was fate.  More than me being their wedding photographer, David and Elyce are the definition of fate.  Their story started in high school….sort of.  David played soccer for Spotsy High and after catching a glimpse of him after a game, Elyce started asking her mom to drive her to all of the games… just to get a look at David. Elyce knew and said then “I’m going to marry that man”.  Fast forward a few years later.  Elyce and David ran into each other at a party and the rest was history.  They spent many of their 6 years together long distance. Back and forth from Radford to ODU (go Monarchs!).  Their love now finds them in Arizona where David is stationed. They returned to Spotsylvania to say ‘I do’ in a small church by the Courthouse with an amazing reception at Stevenson Ridge. It was perfect and I was so excited to be a small part of their day.  Congratulations Captain and Mrs. Lora!!!  HUGE thank you to Megan for being my right hand and second shooting!

Elyce & David were long distance for quite some time… Elyce kept every plane ticket, movie ticket, cookie bag, movie stub, etc. for all their years of dating. She gave the box to David as part of his gift.
