Sarah and Daniel | A Fredericksburg Wedding

It’s not often I meet my bride just days before the wedding. For Sarah and Daniel, who live all the way in Hawaii, this wedding was an exception to the rule. Her wedding was Saturday. We grabbed a cup of coffee and met for the very first time the Wednesday before.  Living in Hawaii is not ideal to plan a wedding in little ‘ol Fredericksburg. Enter Sarah’s mom. Mrs. Ridgely was the wedding planner, DIY decor maker, wedding dress picker-outer, invitation maker, hotel booker, limo renter and MORE… All by being the mother of the bride. I met with Mrs. Ridgely first. She told me Sarah was the first of her three children to get married and she wanted to give her daughter a beautiful wedding. That she did. I was SO impressed with everything she put together… Especially having the bride clear across the country!
Now, I know what you must be thinking. What kind of bride could do this? What kind of bride would let their mom plan their whole wedding? Pick out their wedding dress?! Sarah. That’s who. I was told multiple times how relaxed she was… How she’s very go with the flow. As soon as we started chatting, yes, just 3 days before her wedding… I knew she was going to be wonderful. She had all she needed. The love of her life and family from ALL over. She fully trusted her momma and was happy with everything she was blessed with. That day was her and Daniel’s and you could just tell she was ready to soak it all in.
I didn’t get to meet Daniel until the wedding morning. He was on a long boys trip in the mountains the whole week prior (Seeeeee how amazing Sarah is?! Haha) But as soon as I met him…I could tell he was a great, down to earth person. And he was so in love with Sarah and so ready to get married.  The wedding was just beautiful. Mrs. Ridgely, you did AMAZING. Sarah and Daniel, thank you for putting your trust in me to capture such an important day in your lives! It was an honor. Enjoy my favorites!

Sarah and Daniel exchanged gifts before the ceremony.

Then Daniel surprised Sarah with a SECOND gift. It was awesome.

How adorable is Sarah with her sister? Love it.

Sarah’s sweet cousins/bridesmaids surprised her with a custom perfume bottle. Every bride should have this.

Let me just give you all a moment to take in the back of this dress….

Love that Sarah’s mom brought HER wedding picture into the room.

Time to get MARRIED!

Officially Mr. and Mrs. Sanders!

Love this wands Mrs. Ridgely made!

Sarah and Daniel had an amazing wedding party!

Looking good, Daniel!

Oh, Sarah… You are just perfection.

Couldn’t go the whole wedding day without a traditional Ridgely sister pose!

One of my favorites…

Oh, the back of that dress!

Reception time!

Loved the cupcake themes! Best Day Ever, NY Yankee, Boston Red Sox and the Aloha!

Brielle wasn’t able to drop flowers at the church… But she got her moment entering the reception!

First dance.

Oh, man…. Sarah and Daniel both had the sweetest dances with their dad and mom. So beautiful.

Daniel was a baseball player. What a fun way to throw the garter!
