I’m not entirely sure this falls under a wedding project post. My last one with the cookie/cake stands was completely DIY. This one’s a little different. If you can take anything away from it, maybe it will help with design inspiration for an upcoming project or wedding. As I’ve said a zillion times before, my brother was getting married the first of October. Well, it happened! And it was beautiful! It’s no secret that I love weddings and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy helping Megan with anything she needed. Megan took the theme of modern-vintage and ran with it. She did an amazing job with the flowers, the cake, the dresses, her dress (amazing) and all the decor. It was just perfect. I was super excited when she asked me to design her programs. This is where the DIY doesn’t really fall into place… BUT – there are a TON of graphic designers out there. And chances are you know somebody with the ability and the computer programs to design. Once they were designed, proofed and approved it was time for printing! Minuteman Press of Fredericksburg did an amazing job! Once Minuteman cut them down, rounded the corners and drilled the holes – we needed a way to hold them together. This is where you can get creative! I took Megan’s theme and searched all around town. No luck. But the trusty internet didn’t fail me. The Eyelet Outlet & Brads had just the perfect way for us to bind the programs. They took no time to get here and they looked great – be sure to check them out! So, here they are… my semi-DIY programs!
For all you paper nerds (like me)… This was printed on a Natural 80 lb. Cougar Cover
