Fall in Virginia… Does is it get any prettier?! The warm colors on the trees throughout the rolling hills in Leesburg is just gorgeous. I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa and Adam’s wedding on a beautiful autumn day at The Harvest House at Lost Creek. These two were longtime friends turned couple. I love stories like that. And how they found me… six degrees of separation is a very real thing, y’all. From Melissa’s dad going to high school with my dad all the way to Adam knowing my cousins husband… It was fate! I’m so glad they reached out to me. Melissa’s sense of humor and laughter is seriously infectious. She was jokes and smiles the whole entire day. I also have to give kudos to Adam. Adam loathes getting his photo taken. I was fully prepped about his lack of photo enthusiasm but I do love a good challenge. I’m proud to say he did awesome and was a serious trooper the whole time! I’d like to think it was because I made it painless but I know it was because he would do anything for Melissa. All their loved ones gathered next to the gorgeous vines at Harvest House. Mother Nature brought some crazy winds but all in all it was stunning. They drank and danced the night away to a send off of sparklers. It was such a great day. Enjoy my favorites below! Thank you to Heather of Heather Adams Photography for second shooting with me!
