I had been watching the weather all week. The Waynesboro forecast creeped from 40%, t0 80% to a 100% chance of rain on Saturday. I mentally prepared myself for it but went in blind since I had never been to the venue before. When I arrived, Lindsey was a little bummed. She just looked at me and said “It’s going to rain…” and I said “Yeah, it is, and we’re going to deal with it and make it work”. That was the end of that. She was all smiles from there on out. When her officiant began the ceremony she said it was an old Italian saying that if it rains on your wedding day it only makes the knot you’re tying that much stronger. As the rain beat down on the roof of the stables, Lindsey and Robbie said their vows in a beautiful ceremony. They saw no one else but each other. It was so, so sweet. After their “I do’s” and a marathon run of photos, they danced the night away! I hope you both are having a SUNNY and amazing honeymoon! Enjoy some of my favorites below. Thank you to Sara of Wolfcrest Photography for second shooting the day with me!
