This day. From the moment I left Kelsey and Daniel’s engagement session I knew their wedding day would be amazing. The chemistry they had was undeniable and we had a ton of fun. I was right. The day was everything. These two are perfect for each other. Smiles never left their faces. Laughs were the only sounds I heard. Very happy tears were shed during the ceremony when they vowed their forever. The day went just as I had envisioned…pure happiness.  I arrived at Hotel Madison in beautiful Harrisonburg, Virginia. The girls were getting their hair done and music was playing. Greeted with the biggest hug, I got right to work. As I was shooting details, Kelsey paused, looked at me and excitedly said “I can’t believe this is happening!” We shared a laugh because it was very much happening. She was marrying the love of her life and every person in that room was beyond excited.  Kelsey and I had chatted about it being August and possibly being unbelievably hot. But, it wasn’t. It was a perfect summer day.  We went to the ceremony site, The Edith J. Carrier Arboretum, and it wasn’t a breathtaking 100 degrees like it normally is in the summer. It was just right for an August day in Virginia. After a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony we headed back to Hotel Madison for the PARTY and their friends and families knew just how to do just that. The celebration was so fun and filled with excitement I can only imagine it was exactly what Daniel and Kelsey had hoped for. These two were a breeze to photograph – not so easy to narrow down my favorites, though.  Enjoy a look into Kelsey and Daniel’s wedding!

MARRIED! We stayed around to do a few more portraits. First dance as husband and wife. We snuck out for a few sunset portraits. Time for the PARTY. Congratulations Kelsey and Daniel!
