I met Kaylan July of 2014…. Whew, that sounds like such a long time ago. She was the maid of honor and sister to my beautiful bride, Sam. Now, the tables have turned and Sam will be standing by Kaylan’s side. Bonus for me – I get to spend the day with both Johnson sisters again! I met Kaylan, her sweet mom, and Ray at Hyperion to chat about wedding plans, how they met, what they’re up to, etc. We clicked instantly. It had been 3 years since I had seen her but, I just knew we were a good fit. Their wedding sounds like a dream! Kaylan found her perfect match in Ray. These two are always up for an adventure and when a little mist was overtaking their engagement session day, it really didn’t matter. They were all for it – rain boots and all! We started their shoot in their backyard… literally. They strolled down to Alum Springs Park to meet me and shoot part 1 of their session. The Fall colors were stunning. I’m not an expert on the seasons by any means but, these leaves seemed to be at peak time! So gorgeous! Then after a quick outfit change we headed to Downtown Fredericksburg to see what spots we could find. I had the best time with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding day! Enjoy my many favorites from Kaylan and Ray’s engagement shoot!
Must include the furbabies! This ring… GOALS. The colors were so vibrant!
How cute are they?! LOVE! STUNNING. How sweet are they?! Congratulations Ray and Kaylan! I can’t wait for May!
