I know what you’re thinking… Carley, I thought you didn’t do maternity photos? Change of heart folks. I’ve been seeing all my amazing couples becoming the most wonderful parents left and right.  I was there for their vows and some how I’m missing other MAJOR life moments. These are my friends. My people! How can I let this happen?! Well, I decided this year to open my schedule to more lifestyle/family and maternity sessions.  I can’t take tons but I can definitely take on a handful. I’ve turned away so many of my couples in the past to focus only on weddings. I wasn’t getting the experience I should have because I was only shooting engagements and nuptials. I felt it wasn’t fair to offer sessions I didn’t know much about. There are SO many talented photographers out there who focus solely on these types of sessions. However,  I have faith with the more I shoot, the better I will get.  I know my couples trust I will do my absolute best and learn along the way.  So, giving myself a little grace…. I’m sharing with you Kaitlin and Parker’s maternity session.  We went back to their wedding venue, Stevenson Ridge. It was so fitting. I’ve loved these two since day one and now they are parents to sweet Savannah.  I can’t wait to watch their family grow.  I also can’t wait to see where this new path with take me.
