Jen & Mike | A Stevenson Ridge Wedding

I always have jitters for my first wedding of the season.  My first wedding is also usually around March. Not this time!  I dove head first into my 2014 wedding season the very first week of the year. No time to be nervous! I spent the whole month of December off (from photography land…) to recharge my mental batteries and spend some much needed time with my friends and family. I knew once the New Year rolled around, Jen and Mike would be saying their ‘I do’s”.  Stevenson Ridge was just beautiful with snow still left on the ground.  Jen and Mike also braved the cold for their portraits and I couldn’t be more thankful. I had mentioned in their engagement session post how much I was looking forward to seeing Jen’s moves on the dance floor…. as expected, she did NOT disappoint.  Enjoy my favorites below! HUGE thank you to Heather of Heather Adams Photography for second shooting the day with me.

Meet Samantha, Mike and Jen’s little girl… she will make some hilarious appearances throughout this post.

Love this shot Heather got of Jen and Sammy…

First look…. one of my favorites to date.

Love Mike’s reaction!

Loving the snow on the ground… and them for thinking warm thoughts!

Incase anyone is wondering… those perfect cardigans are from New York & Company.

Foot shot by Heather! Love it!

Sammy wearing her mom’s veil before the ceremony…

She really wanted her dad’s attention… Adorable.

Married!!!

Jen’s mom did a great job on the centerpieces!

The reactions of another great Eric Herod ‘Love Story’!

Ring shot by Heather!

Jen and her dad danced to one of my all time favorite Bruce Springsteen songs. Beautiful.

And here’s Sammy! She wanted to dance, too!
