She wore red. He wore dress blues…and a motorcycle vest. It was untraditional and perfect in every way. I literally met Mac and Gillian two nights before their wedding. We didn’t have much time to talk or get “their story” but it was ok. I got it. Quick, classy ceremony, good food, party with all the people they love. Done and done. They had the wedding in Falmouth at Amy’s Cafe. Side note… Amy and her staff were uh-mazing! They so quickly switched their room around 3 times for ceremony, dinner and dancing. They were THE sweetest people to be around and really made everything SO enjoyable. End side note… It was a great night (which ended in the first snow of the season!) There were Marines, bikers, college friends, family, old neighbors, etc. all there for one reason – Gillian and Mac. She was radiant and he was on cloud 9 and they both are so in love. It was their night and I am so thankful they chose me to be a part of it. Their wedding really reminded me how it’s not always about the big white dress and all the glitz. It’s two lives, two hearts joined together in friendship united forever in love (cheese? sorry – it’s true). Congratulations, Gillian and Mac!!! Enjoy Rome!
Look at those shoes!
Best. Vows. Ever.
Gillian’s parents were celebrating their anniversary! She arranged for their wedding song to be played. So sweet.
I’ll end with this shot…. which I’m pretty sure I was getting called a stalker from the inside for taking. Butttttt, I love it! Congrats again, Gillian and Mac!
