Usually, after a full day of shooting a wedding on Saturday, I’m pretty burnt out on Sunday.  My dad asked me earlier that week if I wanted to come down to his boat and spend Sunday and part of Monday relaxing since it was a 3 day weekend. Initially, I said no…. I didn’t think I would be up for the drive. But, after giving it some more thought, admiring the perfect weather forecast and realizing I should spend as much time doing things like that as possible, I changed my mind.  So, Sunday morning I packed a small overnight bag, hopped in the car and headed down Route 17 towards Heathsville. I’m so glad I went. I hadn’t been to my dad’s boat since last September.  That is not ok.  So, we took a long boat ride, took a swim and went to a nice dinner in Reedville.  It is certainly the slow life down that way and it’s exactly what I needed.  I brought my camera to take a few shots.
