He was crazy. You walked in the door, and he about came unglued. Ran back and forth, back and forth. Panting, jumping, spinning. Just plain crazy. He had nicknames I really can’t mention. Just know they began with the letters F, S, A, etc. and often ended in head, er, face, and so on and so on. He wanted to eat what we ate. We could only walk him at night because he didn’t play well with others. He wanted to attack every squirrel he saw from the window. You could NOT clean or swim in the pool for fear he may have a heart attack. He can jump a solid 3 feet off the ground. He was crazy. Just crazy. But, we were so, so crazy about him.
Yesterday was a sad day. Target, our family dog, had to be put to sleep. He was not well and was in too much discomfort. And his crazy self just wasn’t there anymore. I miss you so much, Mr. Puppy. Crazy and all.
And incase you were doubting my definition of crazy… here’s a few clips:
I’m so sorry Carley. These pictures are wonderful and made me tear up. This is a great way to remember him.
Target was a such a fun dude. I will miss teaching him to not be afraid of water. I’m sorry that he’s gone but I bet he’s attacking leaf-blowers and eating sirloin in puppy heaven.
I’m so sorry Carley!
Such sweet pictures and a great description of Target. I know how you must miss him so much. What a dog!!
