I would usually start a D.C. post about how driving up there freaks me out. But, I will spare you the story you’ve read 100 times. This time… it’s about Stephanie and Kyle, their love and their amazing wedding.  The day started at Stephanie’s hotel. She was surrounded by her family and bridesmaids. You could just feel the excitement when you walked into the room.  Nothing but happiness – Stephanie was beaming!  Once she put her amazing dress on, it was time to see Kyle!  Now, Stephanie and Kyle had a unique first look. They actually got married during it! That’s right, married. Let me explain… Kyle’s best man/best friend, Scott,  got ordained to marry them. Due to crazy Virginia laws, he was not legally allowed to marry them at their wedding location. It meant the world to Kyle and Stephanie to have Scott marry them – so they did it in Washington, D.C. during an intimate first look. No wedding party, parents from a far… it was perfect and I can only imagine it was exactly what Stephanie and Kyle had hoped for.  Once they were married, we headed off to the Capitol for some wedding party pictures! It was a hot, bright one but, they rocked it!  Then… off to the next wedding!  Stephanie and Kyle said their I do’s at Mt. Vernon. It was such a beautiful ceremony.  And all that love I felt in Steph’s hotel room was magnified during the ceremony.  They danced the night away into a perfect sparkler send off.  I hope you enjoy the photos – I chose WAY too many… but I just loved these two! HUGE thank you to my second shooter, Megan, for being amazing and Jessica from JEM Events… that day went so smoothly because of you!
