This wedding. I loved it. Every second of it. It did feel a little bit like déjà vu…. I got to spend another wedding day with the Moran’s and this time I got to meet all of the Perkins. Brandi became a fourth sister and I joked as much as I’ve seen them I might as well become a fifth haha.
All it took was a Facebook message to reconnect these high school friends. Brandi joined Brendan on his many travels being in the Air Force. I didn’t know them much as a couple before this day as they were stationed in another state. We only communicated via email. But, after being around Brandi the morning of the wedding, I knew right away she was my kind of girl… totally laid back, completely up for anything, obsessed with her dog, so loving towards all her friends and family…. just a genuinely great person to be around. After hearing the Maid of Honor and Best Man speeches, I learned a bit more about these two and they truly are perfect for each other.
Some say rain is good luck on your wedding day. Brandi was stressed about the pending weather but, it basically worked out as best it could. After walking down the aisle to become Mrs. Moran, and the start of the vows, thunder boomed, rained poured all while we were inside, safe under cover. Once we went down to the train tracks for some portraits, the clouds cleared, the sun came out and we were able to carry on the rest of the day as planned. I’d say they were definitely blessed with good luck. Brandi and Brendan, I wish you all a lifetime of happiness. I know the Air Force will take you many places but you have a lot of love here in Fredericksburg. Thank you to Sara of Wolfcrest Photography for second shooting. Enjoy MANY of my favorites below!
Brandi borrowed her mom’s pearls.
Brandi and her furbaby Jake Reading their notes to one another. How sweet is she?! A few portraits before heading to the ceremony. Obsessed with these! Adorable! Married! We went to the train tracks for a few portraits. These two rocked it despite the humidity. Love! Brandi! You are stunning! Brendan and his nieces.
Reception time! First dance! We snuck out to do a few more portraits before the party started. Worth it! Brandi and her dad did a seriously impressive dance! And Brendan and his mom – so sweet. Party time, ya’ll! Brandi’s grandparents – winners of the anniversary dance. Congratulations Brandi and Brendan!
