I had the honor to capture Stephanie and Evan’s engagement photos last weekend. It was a reschedule from a total downpour a few weeks prior. Stephanie and Evan are another online success story and one of my 2018 couples! Stephanie, a doctor, and Evan, a vet, are the sweetest. It literally took all I had not to pick Evan’s brain about my puppy (#crazydogmom). But, I know if I had asked he’d gladly answer any questions I had – that’s how kind they were. When I asked Stephanie where she wanted to have their session she said Maymont and Virginia Museum of Fine Art. I had been wanting to get back to Maymont for quite some time. I know it’s swarmed with people and other photographers but you can’t beat the gorgeous grounds. From the reddest of leaves to the stunning stone, Maymont didn’t disappoint. I had never been to VMFA… I should really explore Richmond more. VMFA was a more modern feel and a new favorite of mine! Despite it getting a bit cold, Stephanie and Evan rocked their session! I cannot wait to get back to RVA and shoot their wedding! Enjoy some of my favorites below!
