Half way through their engagement session, Claire said to me ‘I wonder what you’re going to write about this one’. Oh, Claire haha. See, she thought I was given a challenge. Her fiancé, Ryan, was doing what a lot of guys do…. not wanting their photo taken.  I never take it personally. They’re guys! They have a ton of other things they’d much rather be doing. But, slowly, Ryan loosened up.  So, see, boys,…it’s not SO bad. There could be worse things than spending an evening snuggling up to your fiancé, doing something for her that she absolutely loves!

I met Claire and Ryan at a red barn I had passed all my life.  I’ve stared at it from Leavells Road many, many times.  I’ve always hoped to shoot there and as fate had it, Claire knew the brand new owners!  They graciously let us use the property and it was SO worth it!  The end of the session was for Ryan. Football!  Ryan helps coach the Courtland Cougars so we spent some time on the field!  Claire’s energy is contagious. I love her for that. And, though he fought me just a little (haha) I know Ryan loves Claire for that, too.  I can’t wait for their wedding in May! It’s going to be a blast! Enjoy some of my favorites!
