Rain. No one can control it. You spend months and months of planning an outdoor wedding with hopes the sun is shinning and you have perfect temperatures. But, realistically, this doesn’t always happen. The way you can control unpredictable weather is to have a back up plan and a GOOD ATTITUDE. Lindsey and Chris had both…
When Sara and I arrived to DelFosse, the sky was gray. We all knew it was coming. When we walked through the doors of the farm house… I thought there could be panic. Nope! Nothing by smiles were beaming from all the girls. Make up was being applied, hairspray was flowing, laughter and joy was everywhere. At one point, I overhead Lindsey telling her girls how lucky she was to have found Chris and how happy she was she was marrying him. I knew from that moment no amount of rain was going to ruin this day. She was going to marry her dream guy no matter what. And that she did.
As Lindsey’s sweet mom walked her down the aisle towards Chris, tears were flowing, smiles were beaming and nothing but love filled the tasting room of DelFosse. They promised forever in a beautiful, intimate ceremony. Lindsey’s Maid of Honor told the reception during her toast that rain on your wedding day is good luck… and Lindsey and Chris has TONS of it. She was so right! Lindsey and Chris, I wish you all nothing but love and happiness in this beautiful journey called life. Enjoy some of my favorites from their gorgeous wedding! Thank you to Sara of Wolfcrest Photography for second shooting and braving the elements with me!
All the girls told Lindsey she looked like a celebrity. I’d say they were right.
